Sometimes you had got 'My Documents' folder to big by size on drive C, you may want to move it to your other physical drive with more room. Or maybe what you want is just to separate your 'My Document' folder from your Windows system file. This is a good tip for you to make Windows system accesses more effectively by separating one and another type of partition. You can get more security when Drive C damage or has a problem. Anyway, you can move 'My Documents' location by following these simple steps:
1. Right click your 'My Document icon' and select properties. You can find the icon both in your
or in Windows explorer.
2. Select 'Target' Tap. Then, Enter you destination path on 'Target folder location' and Click 'Move' button. It will be moved all data to a new 'My Document' path.
3. Another option is 'Change'. If you don't want to move you data to a new 'My Document' folder. And you can always copy the files manually by go to C:\Documents and Settings(your account name).
